Joseph Junior has performed with a number of UK greats from Soul II Soul, Desree, Alison Limerick, Maxi Priest, Mick Hucknall, Chrissie Hynde, Tomorrows Warriors, Jocelyn Brown, Avani.
Having trained at the Soul Experience Vocal Academy for two years in Voice building and techniques (including basic music theory), Joseph Junior nurtured his craft through Solo Performances and various showcases at live music venues around London. With a warm and soulful tone, Joseph Junior is often referred to as a talent with similarities to Luther Vandross.
Joseph Junior grew up listening to Jazz legends like Ella Fitzgerald, Cole Porter, Sarah Vaughn, Al Jarreau and George Benson he has drawn musical influences from Motown and British Soul Funk acts such as Sade, Omar, Brand New Heavies etc. His musical styles range from Jazz, Funk, Soul to Folk.
Joseph Junior is also involved in song writing for publishing and has written for other unsigned acts like Jazz Funk Band "Freefall" (www.freefalling.co.uk) and various House music producers and writing and recording with Silent Voice Productions (as part of the Medina project). At this very moment creating the Soul Album with the wonderful Maqman from Switzerland...
