Warm, colourful, powerful and charismatic are just some of the words used to describe Elvis Chambers’ voice. After dabbling in musical styles from a myriad of genres, he settled upon what has been described as Soul / Rock. “whether my music describes this genre or not I don’t know” he said in a recent interview with Ben Turner from BBC WM. Coming up with a genre was for the benefit of those that were curious...and the music industry.
Trying to marry two of his loves, the voice and the guitar, Elvis has a particular passion for his lead guitar. Developing his raw talent on the session circuit, Elvis has been a regular fixture on the scene amongst his peers.
Elvis has had the opportunity to work with a number of artists some of whom are very well known the band M People, Andy Taylor (Duran Duran), Mel Gaynor (Simple Minds), Dave Stewart ( Eurythmics), Paul Wellar and acts that have supported “Blur” “Alexander O’Neal” & Chaka Khan.
