Ballroom Glitz are one of Europe's premiere 70s Showbands. The band of 6 highly experienced and talented musicians - 2 girls and 4 guys - play totally live, dressed in dazzling glam rock costumes, amid a whirlwind of costume changes and delightful dance routines.
Their show features all the 70s classics, from ABBA to Queen and while all the expected faves are there - T Rex, Mud, Slade, Sweet - they also include pop legends - Steve Harley and the Cockney Rebel, Bay City Rollers, David Bowie, The Rubettes and much more!
The band also have a Disco Boogie Section that plays Grease, The Bee Gees, KC and the Sunshine Bandand other disco classics. Finally if the audience suits, the setlist can include Black Sabbath, Hawkwind and Alice Cooper.
While every effort is in place to ensure that the audience favourites are included, the show is enjoyable for anyone from 8-80 years old! If dancing isn't your bag, or your feet can take no more and you just want to watch, there is plenty to keep you captivated.
The band are popular in their own right, on the festival and theatre circuit, working with many 70s icons, supporting Slade, Suzi Quatro, Mud, Sweet, The Rubettes, Showaddy Waddy and many more!
